AndrĂ© G. Travieso has extensive courtroom litigation experience of more than 14 years involving representation of clients in state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey. Criminal defense work includes court appearances and trials on matters including: drug possession, conspiracy, murder, robbery, gun possession, rape, domestic violence, DWI and various white collar crimes. Mr. Travieso, who is fluent in Spanish, began his legal career in 2000 after graduating from Columbia University (B.A.) and Rutgers Law School (J.D.). Mr. Travieso is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of New York and New Jersey. 

Philip A. Fenster was the longest serving Municipal Court Judge in Passaic County.  He served as a Municipal Court Judge for the cities of Paterson and Passaic.  Prior to becoming a Municipal Court Judge, Philip served as a Municipal Prosecutor and a Law Clerk in the Superior Court.  He also served as the Passaic County Adjuster.  Philip has nearly four decades of legal experience and has a wealth of knowledge in the areas of Traffic, DWI, Criminal and Landlord-Tenant  matters. He received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School-Newark and is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Karen Brown is the former Chief Presiding Judge of the Passaic Municipal Court.  She also served as a Municipal Court Judge of the City of Paterson and as a Visiting Judge for the City of Clifton. Prior to serving as a Municipal Court Judge, Karen served as the Passaic County Clerk, Passaic County Adjuster and as an Assistant Passaic County Counsel. Karen also served as a municipal public defender and previously served as the Corporation Counsel for the City of Newark, the largest city in the State of New Jersey. Karen has served as Of Counsel to several law firms in the State of New Jersey who specialized in the areas of family law, municipal defense, workers' compensation, labor/employment and general civil litigation. 


Karen is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. She received her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School-Newark. Upon graduation she became the school's first ever graduate to receive a prestigious public interest fellowship wherein she represented public housing tenants and community organizations in her hometown of Paterson, NJ.   Karen is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey, State of New York and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
